Forget expensive taxis. Bodø is the "5-minute city." You simply walk about 300 meters from the airport terminal to my hub, and your van will be waiting for you. It’s the fastest and most seamless start to an Arctic adventure you'll find.
Absolutely. All my vans are equipped with premium studded winter tires (piggdekk). These provide the best possible grip on icy roads. Combined with the low center of gravity in our electric vans, you’ll find they are incredibly stable and easy to handle in winter conditions.
You’ll be cozy. Our vans feature high-grade winter insulation and a powerful 5kW diesel heater. This setup can keep the cabin toasty even when it's well below freezing outside. I also provide high-quality duvets and linens to ensure a perfect night's sleep.
The 75kWh battery offers plenty of range for the North. In summer, you can expect around 250-300km. In winter, this drops slightly, but since the distances between the best spots in Lofoten are short, it’s rarely an issue. I’ll give you my personal "pro-tips" on range management before you set off.
Both the e-Jumpy and Proace Electric support 100kW CCS fast charging. This means you can go from 10% to 80% charge in roughly 45 minutes—just enough time for a scenic coffee break or a quick grocery shop.
Actually, driving electric is a massive budget-saver in Norway. Even with fast charging, it is significantly cheaper than filling up a traditional diesel van. You’ll save a lot of money on "fuel" that you can spend on fresh local seafood instead!
Yes! Lofoten has an excellent fast-charging network. You are never far from a 50kW or 150kW charger. I recommend downloading the "Elbilbe" app, but I’ll also provide you with my personal map of the most reliable and scenic charging spots.
Definitely. My vans are equipped with sturdy roof rails. Upon request, I can provide ski attachments or kayak mounts. This is the ultimate "toy hauler" for active adventurers who want to experience the mountains and the sea.
Yes. Each van comes with a Jackery Portable Power Station and 220v outlets. This means you can charge your tech gear while off-grid without worrying about the van's main battery. It’s a game-changer for photographers and digital nomads.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, a double propane stove, a fridge/freezer, and all necessary pots, pans, and cutlery. I also include basic spices, coffee, and tea so you can start your first morning right.
The vans feature a 43L water tank and an outdoor shower. While it’s best used in summer, it’s great for rinsing off gear or taking a quick refresh. For hot showers, there are many modern public facilities and campgrounds throughout the region.
Norway has the wonderful "Allemannsretten" (right of public access). You can park and sleep on public land as long as you are 150m from inhabited houses and don't block traffic. I'll provide you with tips on the most scenic (and legal) spots to wake up speechless.
The van is equipped with an AutoPass tag. Tolls and ferries are registered automatically. I will bill you for these after your rental period. Note that electric vehicles often get a significant discount on many Norwegian roads and ferries!
You’re never alone. You’ll have my direct phone number for 24/7 emergency support. Whether you have a question about a charger or need advice on a hiking route, I’m just a call or a text away.
You’re renting from a local who lives and breathes this lifestyle. I personally prepare every van, I share the routes I drive myself, and I am deeply invested in making sure you experience the Arctic fairytale—not just a vacation.
